I was born in Perth, Western Australia and graduated from the University of Western Australia before moving to London to begin my career. I gained an M.B.A. and worked in the U.K. Italy and S.E. Asia in international trade, business development, the arts and education.

I spent 13 years on Rottnest Island with my family but now live in North Fremantle with my husband and two sons.

My short stories have won or been shortlisted in a number of prizes including the Hope Prize in 2024 and I recently completed writing my first novel.

I am also very proud to be a Committee Member of the Festival of Fiction.
